22" Portable Workshop Loom

The 22" Workshop Loom is available in 4-shaft, 4 treadle, or 4-shaft 6 treadle models. It is equipped with a stainless steel reed of your choice, 500 flat steel or inserted-eye wire heddles, two tie-on bars, two lease sticks and complete tie-up system .

30" Portable Workshop Loom

Offered in 4-shaft, 6 treadle or 8-shaft, 10 treadle models, the 30" Workshop is perfect for the small home, condominium, or apartment. The 30" loom offers the weaver a wider warp width and flexibility in situations where a standard sized floor loom would be a difficult fit. It also makes a very practical additional loom, for the fully equipped weaving studio.

The 30" Workshop has the same "scissor" leg arrangement as the 22" models, allowing for easy folding - even when warped!

Floor Looms

The Norwood Floor Loom sets the industry standard for quality and innovation. Each Norwood Floor Loom features solid, super size cloth and warp beams, a ratchet brake system that needs no adjustment or tensioning, and excellent shed, and extra long weaving space. The lamms, jacks and harness tracks are constructed of wood, allowing for quiet operation. Sectional warping rails can be added to the warp beam as an easy installation option. Norwood Floor Looms come in 40" and 50" weaving widths with options of 4 harness, 6 treadle or 8 harness, 12 treadle.

Norwood benches are solid, sturdy and adjustable. The larger bench, made to fit the floor looms, measures 12" x 32" at the seat and adjusts to heights from 21" to 26". The Workshop bench measures 12" x 24" and adjusts from 21" to 26". Benches are finished, and easily assembled with included wrench.

Boat Shuttles
Made of solid hardwood and finely finished, our boat shuttles are lightweight and well balanced for easy throw. Closed bottom, they are 10% lighter in weight than most others on the market. Easy opening shaft allows for simplicity in changing bobbins. 8¾" and 11½" shuttles take a 4" bobbin and the 13½" shuttle takes 5" bobbin.

Sectional Warp Rails
A set of four rails that easily attach to the warp beam of your Norwood loom, for sectional warping. Each rail extend 3" from the beam. The steel divider sections are 2" apart. With the rails attached, the circumference of the warp beam is approximately ¾ yard. Sectional warp rails are available for the 40" and 50" floor looms.

Reeds
Norwood Looms are equipped with reeds made by Toika, a company that has made some of the finest reeds in the world for over 100 years. Top quality materials and precision manufacture assure that you Norwood reed will give you many years of fine service. Specify either 6, 8, 10, 12, or 15 dents per inch. Carbon Steel or Stainless.

Temples
Stretchers or temples for keeping fabric edges straight are available in widths. Metal temples are easy to adjust and because of all the strength of steel, cover very little of your warp, resulting in fewer movements and more visibility.
