Circular Needle , Including 2 At Once
Date: Feb23th and Feb24th 2008(Sat-Sun)10-4pm
Instructor: Janet Rehfeldt
Knitters are discovering that
knitting socks on one long circular needle can be easier than juggling
three and four double pointed needles. Even if you have never knit a pair
of socks before, you can learn to knit socks using one long circular needle
working from the toe up.
Knitting socks from the toe
up allows you to fit as you knit, easily trying on the socks as you work
as well as not having to graft toes or heels. Using one long circular
needle makes knitting 2 socks at one time quick and easy.
Workshop covers casting on in both figure eight and closed toe cast on;
several methods of increasing the toe and heel shaping methods; binding
off and working 2 socks at one time for great looking fit as you knit
socks.

sock from the toe up on one long circular needle; Work on 2 socks at one

traditionally made from fine singles wool from the Shetland breed
of sheep and on fine needles. (There are now Shetland sheep in the US.)
It became much prized throughout the 19th and the early 20th century in
